Whipped Cream Fruit Salad
This is a simple, versatile dessert.
Whipped Cream Fruit Salad
Makes: About 8 cups

Ingredients
- 8 cups fruit (see note below)
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream (or 4 cups whipped)
- ½ cup powdered sugar (more or less to taste)
Instructions:
- Prepare the fruit (wash & cut up whatever needs to be cut) then combine it in a bowl (preferably in a colander, so the extra juice can drain). Set aside until close to serving time.*If preparing ahead of time, toss the apples and bananas in a little lemon juice and water to keep them from turning brown.
- Close to serving time, whip the cream until it turns into whipped cream then mix in the powdered sugar.
- Fold the whipped cream into the fruit and serve.
Notes:
You can use pretty much any combination of fruit, but here are some good choices.
- Apples, chopped
- Grapes, cut in half
- Bananas, sliced
- Blueberries
- Canned fruit cocktail, drained
- Canned Mandarin oranges, drained
