Gooey Cocoa Brownies
Brownies always go over well and can be served with ice cream for an easy dessert.
Gooey Cocoa Brownies
Makes: A 9×13 pan

Ingredients
Wet Ingredients:
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1 cup butter (softened to room temperature)
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 4 large eggs
Dry Ingredients:
- 1 ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup walnuts (chopped – optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°. Grease a 9×13 baking dish and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together the sugar, butter, vanilla, and eggs.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Then add the nuts and stir in.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir together until just combined.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes – don't overbake.
These are very moist and chocolatey without being doughy. They’re very good.
