Wet Ingredients:

(softened to room temperature)

Dry Ingredients:

all-purpose flour

unsweetened baking cocoa

baking powder

salt

walnuts
(chopped - optional)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°. Grease a 9x13 baking dish and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, beat together the sugar, butter, vanilla, and eggs.
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Then add the nuts and stir in.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir together until just combined.
Bake for 25-30 minutes - don't overbake.
