2Tbspsoy sauce(*Not all soy sauces are gluten free*)
¼tspgarlic salt
¼cupwhite sugar
¼cupbrown sugar
¼cupcornstarch
⅔cuppineapple juice
Instructions:
In a saucepan, combine all the ingredients EXCEPT for the cornstarch and pineapple juice.
Bring to a boil over medium heat.
In a cup, combine the cornstarch and pineapple juice.
When the mixture in the pan has come to a boil, stirring constantly, pour the cornstarch/juice mixture into the boiling mixture and cook until thickened.
Notes:
Make Ahead: You can easily make this ahead of time and reheat it before serving.Microwave option: You can easily combine all the ingredients in a bowl and microwave in 1-2 minute increments until it thickens.
