¼
cup
butter
¼
cup
peanut butter
5 ½
cups
Rice Krispies
(*special diet note - verify gluten free)
1 ⅓
cups
semi-sweet chocolate chips
¾
cup
peanut butter chips
Instructions:
Grease a jelly-roll pan and set aside.
Melt the marshmallows, butter, and peanut butter in a saucepan on the stove or in the microwave, stirring often.
When completely melted, stir the Rice Krispies into the marshmallow mixture until well coated.
Spread the mixture in an even layer on the greased pan and allow to cool.
Melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter chips in a saucepan on the stove or in the microwave, stirring often.
When melted, spread the chocolate mixture over the Rice Krispies, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
Roll the Rice Krispies up, working on the long side (so you will have a 15-inch log).
Place the roll, seam side down, on a serving platter and refrigerate until set - about 1 hour.
Cut into narrow slices and serve.
