19-inchpie crust(prepackaged or homemade - see note)
15.85oz boxchocolate pudding(or homemade - see note)
11/2cupswhipping cream(or 3 cups whipped)
⅓cuppowdered sugar(more or less to taste)
Instructions:
Prepare the crust (homemade or prepackaged) and fully bake it.
While the crust bakes, prepare the pudding. Either make 1 recipe of homemade or 1 5.85 box. *If you make homemade, you will probably want to thicken it a bit more than the recipe says.
Set the pudding aside to set up.
Whip the cream until it's thick then gradually add the powdered sugar until it's sweet enough.
Assembly:
When the crust is baked, the pudding is set up, and the cream is whipped; gently fold the pudding and whipped cream together then pour it into the crust. (You may not need all the whipped cream - you can spread the leftover cream over the top.)
Place the pie in the fridge to cool for at least 1 hour.
