Creamy Southern Hot Corn
This is a delicious way to serve corn. You can either serve it spicy or substitute chilies for the jalapenos for a milder dish.

Ingredients

12 oz bags
corn
(frozen or canned)
1
4 oz can
diced jalapenos
(or green chilies)

8 oz pkg
cream cheese
(softened)
¼
cup
butter
(softened)
½
cup
shredded cheddar cheese
(optional)
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Combine all the ingredients in a 9x9 baking dish or in a small crockpot.
Oven: Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until bubbling.
Crockpot: Cook on low for 4 hours or on high for 2 hours - until bubbling.
Notes:
Make ahead: You can easily stir this together ahead of time then cook it in a crockpot for a few hours.
