1 ½Tbspcornstarch(dissolved in 3 Tbsp of cold water)
Instructions:
Combine the blueberries, water, and sugar in a saucepan and heat over medium-high heat until the mixture comes to a low boil and the blueberries just start to break apart.
In a cup, dissolve the cornstarch in 3 Tbsp of cold water.
Stirring constantly, slowly pour the dissolved cornstarch into the blueberry mixture and bring to a rolling boil.
Turn the heat down and simmer on low heat for 2-3 minutes or until the sauce begins to thicken.
Remove from heat and serve warm.
Notes:
Make Ahead: It works well to make this ahead of time and reheat it. If the sauce gets too thick, add more water 1 Tbsp at a time.
You can substitute any type of fruit, just add sugar to taste.
