Bacon Wrapped Little Smokies

Makes: About 48 smokies

Ingredients  

  • 1 lb bacon (slices cut into thirds)
  • 1 pkg Little Smokies (14oz pkg)
  • ½ cup brown sugar (or maple syrup)

Instructions: 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°. Line a cookie sheet with foil and grease the foil.
  • Cut the bacon so the strips are a third of the original length.
  • Wrap each smokie with a piece of bacon and place on the pan.
  • Sprinkle the brown sugar (or maple syrup) over the wrapped smokies.
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes.

Notes:

Make Ahead: These can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated until time to bake. You could probably bake them ahead of time and just reheat them too.
