Chex Mix
This is a simple, but yummy snack
Chex Mix
Makes: 12 cups

Ingredients
- 3 cups corn chex cereal
- 3 cups rice chex cereal
- 3 cups wheat chex cereal
- 1 cup nuts (any combination)
- 1 cup pretzels
- 1 cup garlic bagel chips
- 9 Tbsp butter
- 3 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 ¼ tsp salt
- 1 ⅛ tsp garlic powder
- ¾ tsp onion powder
Instructions:
- In a large microwavable bowl, combine the cereals, nuts, pretzels, and bagel chips. Set aside.
- In a small microwavable bowl, melt the butter.
- Pour the melted butter over the cereal mixture, add the other seasonings and stir until evenly coated.
- You can prepare this in the microwave or the oven.Microwave: Cook uncovered on High for 5-6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes.Oven: Preheat the oven to 250. Bake the Chex mix for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Spread on paper towels or cookie sheets to cool then store in an airtight container.
Notes:
This is very versatile – you can use any combination of cereals, nuts, and pretzels.
This is the original Chex Party Mix recipe, but I increased the coating to 1 1/2 because it’s often a little dry and flavorless.
Make Ahead: You can easily make this ahead of time. Store in an air-tight container to keep it from becoming stale.
