Greek Tzatziki Sauce

This Tzatziki sauce is perfect for gyros.

Ingredients  

  • 3 cups Greek Yogurt (full fat works best)
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 ½ Tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 6 cloves garlic (peeled & finely minced)
  • 1 medium cucumber (grated & squeezed to drain)

Instructions: 

Pre-prep:

  • Peel & mince the garlic cloves.
  • Grate the cucumber and squeeze it to drain the excess water.

Sauce:

  • In a bowl, stir together the yogurt, oil, lemon juice, vinegar, salt, and garlic.
  • Stir in the grated cucumber and taste to adjust seasonings.

Notes:

Make Ahead: This is best made a couple hours in advance to enhance the flavors.
