Baked Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips
This simple recipe is a great way to use up extra tortillas.
Baked Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips
Makes: About 96 chips

Ingredients
- 8 10-inch flour tortillas
- ½ cup butter (melted)
- ½ cup white sugar
- 2 Tbsp cinnamon
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°. Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper or foil.
- In a large bowl that has a lid, melt the butter.
- Cut the stack of tortillas into 12 wedges each.
- Add the tortilla wedges to the bowl of melted butter. Place the lid firmly on the bowl and shake vigorously until the tortillas are evenly coated.
- In a small bowl, combine the cinnamon and sugar.
- Toss the mixture over the buttered tortillas. Place the lid back on the bowl and shake well. Separate any tortillas stuck together and re-shake to ensure they are all coated well.
- Arrange the tortillas in an even layer on the cookie sheets and bake for 8-12 minutes, turning halfway through, until lightly golden. *Some of the ships may still appear soft, but upon cooling, they will crisp up.
Notes:
Make Ahead: These are best fresh, but can be stored for a couple days in a sealed bag. You should be able to recrisp them by putting them back in the oven for a few minutes.
Serve with fruit salsa or eat plain.
