Gyro Meatballs

Ingredients  

  • 2 lb lamb (or 1 lb lamb and 1 lb chicken)
  • 1 lb pork
  • 1 lb beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup yogurt (if it is thick yogurt, you will want to add some milk)
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 ½ Tbsp marjoram
  • 1 ½ Tbsp cumin
  • 1 ½ Tbsp oregano
  • 1 ½ Tbsp rosemary
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp pepper

Instructions: 

  • Combine ingredients in a bowl or stand mixer and mix well.
  • Use a small cookie scoop to form the meatballs and place on lightly greased lined cookie sheet.
  • Bake meatballs at 425° for 12-18 minutes or until fully cooked.
