Overnight Crock-Pot Steel Cut Oats
This is a very simple way to serve oats.
Steel Cut Oats
Makes: About 4 cups of oats

Ingredients
- 1 cup steel cut oats
- 4 cups water
- 1 dash salt
Instructions:
- Add the oats and water to a crockpot and cook on warm for 10-11 hours.
Notes:
*Older crockpots don’t cook as hot, so you can cook the oats on low in them, but newer crockpots are hotter, so the oats need to be cooked on warm in them.
*If the oats are still soupy in the morning, either take the lid off and turn the crockpot up to high, or stir in some quick-cook oats.
